TRAVEL

This will be an extremely busy event so please allow extra time to travel to and from the racecourse. Due to limited parking on hard standing ground, we advise people to car share where possible, make use of public transport and taxis, or walk if you can.

Lingfield train station is just a short 5 minute walk from the racecourse. For updated train information and any planned disruption, please click here.

There is more detailed travel information here but please check local timetables and taxi services before departing.

PARKING

Please note that parking at the racecourse is on a mixture of hard concrete and grass, and due to a significant amount of rainfall recently and with further forecast ahead of the event, the ground is particularly soft.

Parking is free on site but is limited and will be provided on a first come first served basis, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment and any queues. Please inform the stewards on arrival if you require accessible car parking.

ENTERTAINMENT
Head over to the fun fair for some thrilling rides suitable for all ages including Twister, Tropical Trick, Indiana Jones Fun House, Glass House, Haunted House & so much more!

The funfair will operate on a pay-as-you-go basis and will take both cash and card payments. Please note that there are no cash machines on site.

WEATHER

Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly. We are expecting a considerable amount of rain so we advise you to wrap up warm, wear appropriate footwear and bring waterproofs as this is an outdoor event with limited indoor space.

FOOD & DRINK

A range of bars and food outlets are available serving tasty bonfire night snacks and drinks. A range of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.

SECURITY

We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.

We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.

OTHER INFORMATION

Payment

Please remember, the food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for the funfair rides. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
