The Winter Oaks is back at Lingfield Park on Wednesday 27 January, and it's one of the highlights of horse racing in January. Our All Weather track is built for this time of year, so the racing goes on whatever the weather does. Reigate's midweek lunch crowd, there's a better table waiting by the rail.
The Winter Oaks is a heritage race with a long story at Lingfield, and it brings a strong, competitive field to a midweek afternoon. Expect the whole rail to lean in as they come to the line. Get to the parade ring early to see the runners up close, breath steaming in the cold air.
Every runner here has a team who adore them and know their every quirk. Looking after them always comes first.
