Warm air, green turf and the rattle of hooves past the post. That's horse racing in June at Lingfield Park, and Tuesday 29 June is the next chance to enjoy it. Sevenoaks, a summer afternoon at the races is the best kind of day off.
It's flat racing on our turf track, with fields of horses at every stage of their careers. Midweek racing is a treat. It's relaxed, there's plenty of room on the rail and you get closer to the horses than you'd expect.
The parade ring is a lovely spot on a warm day. You can watch the horses walk round and pick one you like the look of.
Stay for the last race if you can. The light changes and you'll often get the best view of the day.
There's food and drink on the day, plus indoor seating and bars when you want a break from the sun. Tickets are on sale now from [CONFIRM 2027 PRICE]. Under-18s go free.
Fancy something with a bit more swagger? On Saturday 24 July, Absolute Country rolls into Lingfield after the racing, with a country DJ and a line dancer on hand to teach you the moves. Dig out the boots, find your best hat and get the Absolute Country night in the diary.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
