It's Derby Day, and here's the plan: all of the Derby, none of the crush. Watch the big race live on our screens with a drink in hand and room to actually see it, then stay for an evening of flat racing on the turf and our 90s Summer Sounds party to finish. Saturday 5 June at Lingfield Park has all the buzz of Derby Day, minus the hour-long queue for the bar. Horley, Redhill and Reigate, dig out the bucket hats for a proper 90s Saturday.
Our turf track bends and dips in much the same way as Epsom, and our Derby & Oaks Trials back in May are where plenty of Classic hopefuls get tested. Have a wander round the parade ring, pick the one with the best name and claim you knew all along when they come good. If your pick gets there first, pop the fizz.
Once the last race is run, it's all 90s music. Past nights have had tribute acts and wall-to-wall 90s songs, and the 2027 line-up is coming soon: [CONFIRM 2027 LINE-UP]. 90s fancy dress is very much encouraged. Bucket hats welcome.
