The 2027 fixture list at Lingfield Park gets going on Saturday 2 January with our All Weather Trials Day, and we can't wait. It's our first afternoon of horse racing in January and the first of 81 racedays here this year. New year, new local: if you're anywhere between Reigate and Tunbridge Wells, this is the first afternoon of 2027 worth leaving the house for.
Nearly every race is a level above a usual winter afternoon, so expect tight finishes. There's also a race for apprentices, the young jockeys still learning the job. Keep an eye on them. As a trials day, it's a first look at horses heading for All Weather Championships Finals Day here on Good Friday.
Stand by the rail and you'll hear them before you see them, a low drum of hooves that builds until they flash past.
We race here more often than almost any course in Europe, a triple threat with fixtures on the flat, the All Weather and over jumps. Good Friday and the Derby & Oaks Trials come in spring, Summer Sounds fills summer Saturday nights and Boxing Day and New Year's Eve close the year.
When the cold gets to your fingers, our indoor bars and seating are right there, with hot food and hot drinks. Tickets are on sale now and under-18s come free with an adult. Book your first raceday of the year, then pick your next.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
