The Spring Cup steps into the spotlight: one of the finest races on our calendar gets a stage all of its own at Lingfield Park.
Last year it shared the bill with our Surrey Countryside Raceday, holding its own against sheep racing and Shetland ponies. For 2027 it takes centre stage on Saturday 6 March, heading up one of our biggest afternoons of horse racing in March.
A Listed race on our All Weather track, it's the one our regulars look out for the moment the fixture list lands. Racegoers come from Horley, Tunbridge Wells and everywhere in between for this one, and it's top-class flat racing you can watch from right by the rail.
Pop down to the parade ring, pick the one that catches your eye, then listen to the rumble build as they sweep past in a blur of colour. Behind every runner is a team who knows that horse better than anyone, and their welfare always comes first here.
Early March can still bite, so our indoor bars are on hand with hot drinks and hearty fare to keep the afternoon cosy. Under-18s are welcome for free, so the whole family can join in. Tickets are on sale now from [CONFIRM 2027 PRICE]. Three weeks later comes the next big date in our year: Good Friday racing 2027 and the All Weather Vase Raceday, on Friday 26 March.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
