On Monday 25 January the jumpers are back at Lingfield Park. It's an afternoon of horse racing in January, over hurdles and fences, and there's nothing quite like standing by a fence when they come over it. For Lingfield and Dormansland, the jumps are practically on the doorstep.
Jump racing is a different sport up close. Stand by a fence and watch the horses sail over in their stride, a proper partnership between horse and jockey. Midweek racing is a treat. It's relaxed, there's plenty of room on the rail and you get closer to the horses than you'd expect.
The parade ring is worth a visit before each race. Jumpers are big, strong horses and they look even bigger up close.
There's hot food and drink on the day, and plenty of indoor seating if you'd rather watch some of the action in the warm. Book your tickets now. Prices start from [CONFIRM 2027 PRICE], and under-18s go free.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
