Horse racing in February has a nice honesty to it. On Friday 26 February at Lingfield Park it's jump racing over hurdles and fences, a cold nose and a warm bar to come back to. Godstone and Bletchingley, start the weekend early with a jumps afternoon close to home.
Stand by a fence and watch the horses meet it in their stride, a proper partnership between horse and jockey. The races are longer over jumps, so you've time to pick out your horse and follow them all the way round. Behind every runner is a team who knows them better than anyone, and their welfare always comes first here.
Pop down to the parade ring before each race and see the horses up close. It's a lovely way to start the weekend, and you can make a weekend of it: the Surrey Countryside Raceday is here the very next day, Saturday 27 February.
Between races, head indoors to our bars and seating for hot food and a hot drink, then get back out on the rail. You can book now, with tickets from [CONFIRM 2027 PRICE]. Bringing the kids? Under-18s go free.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
