Welcome to your essential guide to The Winter Million Festival Sunday!

We look forward to welcoming you to Lingfield Park for a day of exhilarating Jump & All-Weather racing, and live entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place today, and answers any questions you may have. 

 

KEY TIMINGS: 

Gates and concessions open - 10:00am

Funfair rides - from 10:00am - Hotel Lawn

Live Music – from 10:15am – Front Gates & The Courtyard

First race - 12:05pm

Live music - from 12:10pm - The Courtyard

Last race – 4:10pm 

 

TRAVEL:

The racecourse is easily accessed by road and rail. There is more detailed travel information here but please check local timetables and taxi services before departing.

Please note, due to a water leak along the A22 road at Whitegates Farm, RH7 6LG, there are road closures in place which may affect some journeys to and from the racecourse. This however does not affect routes from the M25 (J6) or M23 (J10). Please follow the brown racecourse signs for the best route to the racecourse.

If travelling by car, we have have ample parking at the racecourse and stewards will be on hand to guide you to the relevant car park.

 

ENTERTAINMENT:

If you have come as a family today, head over to the hotel lawn for both funfair and pony rides suitable for kids, all free of charge on the hotel lawn. 

We have a variety of roaming entertainment on-site throughout the day, including live music and our fun fair rides on the Hotel Lawn.

 

WEATHER:

The forecast today is gusty winds and drizzle, with highs of 12 degrees. Please check the local forecast before departing and wrap up warm!

 

FOOD & DRINK:

A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks, including our exclusive Winter Million cocktail 'A Gin in a Million', which can be found at the Courtyard bar. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.

 

SECURITY:

We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.

We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.

 

PAYMENT:

Please remember, the majority of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
