Their performance came to a dramatic finale just over 36 hours ago and we are all still in that 'Everybody Dance' frame of mind! The legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC rocked a 90 minute live set here at Lingfield Park Resort, where thousands of fans shimmied, strutted and sung to their hearts' content.
The set-list was one dreams are made of, with hits such as 'Like a Virgin', 'Just Dance' and 'Le Freak' getting the whole crowd into that CHIC mood. The vast live band were energetic and vibrant, accompanying the iconic lyrics and licks that Nile expertly delivered.
We have had wonderful feedback from guests since the event, all in agreement that they witnessed a world-class musical performance from a world-class act. We would like to extend a special thanks to Nile Rodgers & CHIC for agreeing to perform with such little notice - and an extra special thanks for really showing Lingfield Park Resort how to rock n roll!
