For Immediate Release
Not content with signing world-famous singer/songwriter Craig David to play in September, Lingfield Park has unveiled a whole summer of vibes at the Surrey racecourse.
The iconic Bootleg Beatles – who have survived four times as long as the real Fab Four – will once again be topping the bill at Lingfield Park’s popular Hooves & Grooves live music nights which launch in June.
The band, who receive rave reviews from all corners of the globe, are returning to the Surrey racecourse on 24 June, a week after The Take That Experience launch the series on 17 June.
Andrew Perkins, Executive Director of Lingfield Park, said he was delighted to announce the tribute bands, which he believed would complement the racecourse’s big act, Craig David, who is playing after racing on 16 September.
‘We know that our Hooves & Grooves nights are tremendously popular and this year we have signed some of the old favourites, who our customers love,’ he explained.
‘We are particularly delighted to welcome back The Bootleg Beatles who we know draw a huge crowd.
‘This is just one of a series of seven Hooves & Grooves nights this year, which feature a live tribute band after evening racing, and they are becoming more and more popular every year.
‘It is the perfect evening’s entertainment – seven thrilling horse races followed by the music.’
The series will also feature the ever-popular ABBA Tribute Night as well as the The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience, and Simply Red and Tina Turner tribute. Ladies Evening (on 22 July) this year features a Wannabe Spice Girls tribute act.
